Blanco Basura/Herrick Racing Wins 24 Hours of LeMons thunder Hill.

Two times is a charm for the Blanco Basura/Herrick Racing Honda Prelude.  The team took to the track on Saturdy Morning with Ryan "The Dirt whole" Meeks at the wheel.  Ryan spent most of his time mastering the Yellow flag due to the amount of cars and skilled drivers on the track at the start of the race, when we asked Ryan for a breif comment about his first leg of the race he replied "that was Bullshit".

Team Captain and Outlaw race Guru Colin "the ?" Herrick followed Ryan with a stellar perforance and was able to drive the Honda and continue to log laps without any black flags.  Jacques "The Newlywed" Andres followed Colin with a very short but exciting run around Thunder Hill.  Jacques came into the Pits early due to the lack of horsepower produced by the Honda, when we tried to catch up to Jacques for comment his Publicist told us that his Wife had called and told him he had to be home by dark.

Next up was the Driver with the most wins on dirt, Scott D. Gold.  Scott drove the fourth and slowest leg of the day due to the amount of cautions.  Yellow flags, full course Black flags, He was only able to drive about four partial laps under green, we spoke to Scott and due to the FCC sensorship regulations we are only able to print one long BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

This brings us back to Ryan Meeks and his second leg of the race where he continued to log laps and stay out of harms way, Ryan ran the whole weekend with out getting any penaltys and was considrered a real gentlmen on the track.  The day finished up with Colin Herrick excuse me for forgetting his nickname.  Colin did get into a tangle with another driver lost the front bumper of the car and received a Black flag in the process.  This would be the only black flag the Team would receive for the weekend.

Sunday Morning would be kicked off with Scott D. Gold who finally ran the track at top speed and was able to pass some cars and run on the Green flag for most of the period he was on the track.  Jacques was offically replaced by newcomer and virtual greenhorn to the LeMons racing experience Brandon "Red Line" Brassfield.  Brandon had no problem adjusting to this format and went straight to work passing cars and logging laps, but the Jesus Honda had other plans.  While Brandon was on the track the Honda spun a bearing about four hours from the finish and left the Team high and dry.

This was a clear victory for the Blanco Basura/Herrick Racing Team, everyone turned in great lap times and every driver got behind the wheel and we made it farther than last year, that is a victory and that is why we race the LeMons.  If you are here to cheat, drive like an asshole, cry like a little Bitch than go somewhere else.  I do not know how much longer this venue will be free from most of the usual bullshit attached to racing but for now we are having fun.
